Community Center for the Arts (CCA) was founded in January 2002 by professional Mariachi singer Veronica Robles of Mexico and music and television producer Willy Lopez of Iquitos, Peru in response to the need of quality cultural programming in the Boston area, especially in predominantly Latino communities.
CCA provides a range of programs and services for the community including music and dance classes and workshops for young people, music and video production, and a widely respected and established Latin American folk dance troupe (Ballet Monte Alban). In addition, CCA provides art facilities including a dance studio and music/video production studio where aspiring artists can work to achieve their goals.
